Holly Shores Policies and Regulations

Please Note: Campsite check-in 1pm – check-out 11am. Cabin, trailer and park model rentals check-in 3pm – check-out 11am.

We cater to families only and strictly enforce quite hours (11pm-8am). Campers under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 25 years or older on the same site. Rates based on 2 adults, 2 children, 1 camping unit, 1 car, and 2 pets. No substitutions. Extra adults, children, infants, cars, golf carts & motorcycles are charged $8.00 in-season and Halloween weekends and $5.00 per day in the off-season. Max of 2 pets per site. Max of 6 people per site including guests. Max of 2 cars per site including guest cars. Positively no check-ins after 10:30pm or when the store is closed. Store closes earlier in the spring & fall-please call a few days prior to your vacation for check-in time.

Site requests:

Sorry, we can't guarantee specific sites. However if available, specific sites may be requested on a 7 night or longer stay. Preference of site may be requested, however, due to turnover, date changes, and illness, we can't guarantee request. Although site assignments may occasionally be subject to change in the event of unforeseen circumstance, those arriving early should not expect the park staff to relocate another camper's site assignment simply because that camper has not yet arrived. We reserve the right to substitute campsites. Seasonal rates available upon request. No alcoholic beverages permitted. All guests must register prior to entering the campground; you are responsible for your guest registration. We strictly enforce this.

Reservations:

  • Minimum stays required at times. See rate tables for information.
    • Rates subject to change unless we received your reservation fee.
    • For any last minute visits, we highly suggest calling before arrival to check on availability.
    •1 week minimum for all sites, cabin, trailer, and park model rental reservations (July & August). Occasionally, space may be available for shorter periods of time. Please call one month prior to desired check-in date to check shorter stay availability.
    • We encourage you to reserve weekly summer vacation dates early, since many dates fill up well in advance. Please note that there are certain site areas of the park that are reserved for spring/fall packages and summer vacation of 7 nights or longer.
    • Sorry, summer Saturday's check-ins not available for cabin, trailer or park model rentals.

Reservation fee:

  • • Sites require a $150.00 deposit per week: reservations 2 weeks or longer require 100% deposit.
    • All campsite balances must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to arrival or your credit card on file will be charged.
    • Cabin, trailer, and park model rentals require 50% deposit (of dollar amount for length of stay). Balance due one month prior to arrival.
    • All cabin, trailer and park model rentals require a $250.00 credit card security deposit at check-in. No checks accepted. Cash deposits are returned by check ten (10) days after check-out.
    • US money orders, Visa & Master Card are accepted for reservation fee. US personal check reservation fee must be received at least 30 days prior to arrival date. US checks only accepted 30 days prior to arrival date.
    •I f a credit card is given to confirm reservation, the reservation fee will be processed on the day the reservation is taken.
    • Up on receiving reservation fee, Holly Shores will email or send a confirmation stating that the reservation fee was received. Please review your confirmation for any mistakes.

Payments:

  • For all cabin, trailer, and park model rental reservations and for site reservations over extended holiday weekends, any balance due must be paid in full at least 30 days prior to arrival or credit card on file will be charged.
    • Rentals must be left in clean condition or a minimum of $100 cleaning fee will be charged.
    No smoking in rentals or a minimum of $250 cleaning fee will be charged.
    • Pet friendly cabin rentals (H24, H29, S34 & S91) will require a $25.00 pet fee charge per stay (non-refundable). Only one 50 lb. dog or two dogs under 50 lb. are permitted in pet friendly cabin rentals. No cats permitted.
    • For stays of 2 weeks or longer, require 100% deposit when making reservation. 3 weeks or longer site rental deposits are non-refundable.
    • For all other stays, balance is due upon check-in and may be paid by cash, traveler's checks, Master Card, or Visa.
    • Sorry, no Canadian checks or currency.
    • There is a $35.00 service fee on all returned checks.

Telephone reservations:

  • Are kept on file for 7 business days. If deposit is being paid with personal check, the check must be received in 7 business days or reservation request is assumed cancelled.

Reservation changes:

  • If it is a change in DATES ONLY (not in length of stay), no charge if change is made at least 14 days in advance and providing space is available.
    • If a change is made in LENGTH OF STAY, there is no charge if extending length of stay, providing a site is available. However, to shorten a reservation, the change must be made 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date or no refund on unused days. Account will be charged for original reservation. No-subletting.
    • Failure to arrive by noon of the day following your scheduled date of arrival will result in a cancellation of reservation, with no refund or credit. Your reservation will be considered a No Show.

Reservation cancellations:

  • Camping is an outdoor experience. Therefore, we do not give refunds due to the discomforts or acts of nature or otherwise.
    • Any cancellation made at least 14 days prior to arrival date will result in a refund minus a $30 cancellation fee for sites.
    • Any cancellations made less than 14 days but at least 7 days prior to arrival date will be entitled to a Holly Shores Campground credit for a future stay, minus a $30 cancellation fee for sites.
    • Any cancellation made less than 7 days prior to arrival date shall receive no refund or credit for sites.
    • There are no refunds or credits for early departures on sites and cabin, trailer and park model rentals. No sub-leasing.
    • No pets or smoking in rentals. ASK ABOUT OUR SELECT PET FRIENDLY CABIN RENTALS (H24, H29, S34 & S91)

Cabin, trailer and park model rentals cancellation:

    • Four weeks notice required for a refund of your deposit less one night stay fee.
      •Any cancellations made less than 28 days prior to arrival date shall receive no refunds or credits.
      • No pets or smoking in rentals. If a pet or smoking is discovered in your rental, you will forfeit your security deposit $250.
      •One 50 lb. dog or two dogs under 50 lb. are permitted in designated pet friendly cabin rentals (H24, H29, S34 & S91). $25 pet cleaning fee.
      • There are no refunds or credits for early departures.
      • All rental reservations are to be here by 10:30 PM to check-in. No check-ins after 10:30 PM.
      • Rentals must be left in clean condition or a minimum of $100.00 cleaning fee will be charged.
      • Cabins can not be sub-let.

Holly Shores Pet Regulations

We are a dog friendly park. We allow up to 2 dogs per site and offer both the general campground area for exercising your dog as well as a large fenced doggie park. We ask that you respect the park and other campers while enjoying your stay with your pets. We ask you to adhere to the following regulations:

  • Dog owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries or damage they cause
  • Any dog exhibiting aggressive behavior may be asked to leave the campground
  • Collars and leashes must be utilized while walking about the park or at campsites
  • Leashes may be removed when the dog is released in the doggie park
  • Owners are responsible for removing feces immediately
  • Every dog must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or older) with a limit of 2 dogs per adult
  • No dogs that are sick or in heat are allowed in the doggie park
  • No alcohol, food, or glass is allowed in the doggie park
  • Puppies using the doggie park must be at least four months old
  • Dogs should not dig or destroy campground property
  • Only registered campers are permitted to use the doggie park
  • Dogs must be within view and voice control of owner/handler at all times
  • Use of this park is a privilege and any violations may result in the loss of that privilege and could result in being asked to leave the campground
  • Pets cannot be left unattended on a site or in a pet friendly cabin
  • Dog barking is to be kept at a minimum out of respect for other campers
